  • Pre-purchasing a food only ticket allows you to pick up a pre-loaded food pass at Festival Check-In. If you finish all 6 samples, you will be able to purchase more food samples onsite. Festival food samples start at $8ea.
  • This ticket is for FOOD ONLY — this ticket does NOT include the festival beer-sampling.  That is a separate ticket. There are full size beer, wine and cocktails available a-la-carte on festival grounds.
  • A-la-carte drinks will be available for purchase at our festival bar, located in River Run Village.
  • This pass is transferrable

Kick off Keystone’s 29th Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival with a crave-worthy start at our signature Beer Pairing Happy Hour.

This year, Kickapoo Tavern brings a fresh, elevated take on classic comfort fare with a trio of chef-crafted sliders: a backyard burger with all the fixings, smoky BBQ pulled pork, and crispy Buffalo fried chicken. Each bite offers a bold, satisfying flavor designed to capture the spirit of summer in the Rockies.

Goose Island Brewing will pair a curated selection of craft beers with each course, showcasing how thoughtful pairings can elevate familiar flavors in delicious and unexpected ways. Guests can look forward to balanced combinations and a lively exploration of food and beer. Beers include varieties from Goose Island’s Beer Hug series along with their Wild Herd kolsch!

With live acoustic tunes from local favorite bluegrass band Sugar Cane Nellie setting the tone, this exclusive happy hour is the perfect prelude to a weekend of bluegrass, brews, and the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

The Beer Sample Menu:

Wild Herd Kölsch – 5.0% ABV – Crisp, clean, and endlessly refreshing — the one everybody comes back to.

Hazy Beer Hug IPA – 6.8% ABV – Soft, juicy, and low on bitterness, with peach and guava in every sip.

Hoppy Beer Hug IPA – 6.8% ABV – Bright citrus and stone fruit with just enough bite to keep it interesting.

Tropical Beer Hug IPA – 9.9% ABV – A big, bold imperial IPA bursting with mango, pineapple, and peach.

Big Juicy Beer Hug IPA – 9.9% ABV – Tropical’s punchier sibling: sweet passionfruit, orange, and guava, turned all the way up.
