Keystone Festival’s mountain guide to Oktoberfest Weekend

Keystone Festivals are legendary for bringing summer fun to the mountains, but there’s so much more to do in Keystone, we can’t fit it all in one weekend! Lucky for you, we’ve narrowed down which Keystone activities pair best with each Keystone Festival so you can plan your perfect Keystone Festival weekend!

Oktoberfest may have a date on the calendar, but the spirit lingers, inviting you to extend your stay and immerse yourself in Keystone experiences. Beyond the cheerful clink of beer steins, Keystone beckons with a medley of delights – enjoy the Friday free concert series with a local musician, try some of Keystone’s famous gourmet dining, take advantage of the final bike park scheudule, or enjoy a scenic gondola ride with Festival and Fly.

  1. Friday Night Keystone Concert Series with Andy Stratton

Join us on August 30th from 4-6 pm for the FINAL Keystone Concert Series of 2025, an evening of live music with Andy Stratton! This free, Friday afternoon concert series is the perfect kickoff to a weekend full of activities in River Run Village.

  1. Dine at The Ranch

  1. Cowboy down some high speed dirt at the Keystone Bike Park

Soak in the last of summer at Keystone Resort with a downhill bike ride down gorgeous Dercum Mountain! With trails of all difficulty levels, there’s a trail for everyone to enjoy from Cowboy Up to Girl Scout. After Labor Day weekend, the bike park schedule moves to weekends only through mid-September, with a closing date for this year of September 22nd.   1. Festival and Fly!

Have you ever wondered what the views look like from the River Run Gondola in the summer? Take advantage of the Festival and Fly discount; show your festival wristband and recieve half off of a scenic gondola ride over the festival weekend! Enjoy views of scenic Dercum Mountain, Lake Dillon, the Continental Divide, and maybe even some leaves shedding their summer colors for a fall palette! A great activity for the whole family to enjoy views and hiking trails from the top of the gondola.
